*In a conversation with Richard Morgado, he recalls his father leading the parade from the year after Abraham Skidmore passed away in 1955 in to the 1960s.

  1. I can tell you that in the late 90s, HS students from ORR led the parade as drummers. I (Kate Rose) played bass drum. John Farrell (now a famous sound guy for Javier Colon) I think played snare drum, and we had a 3rd person. It may have been local area musician Marcus Montero.
